I’m Bridgette Johnson, the Architect of That Bridge — a purpose-driven firm transforming how employers design inclusive early-career pathways and how emerging professionals prepare to walk them with clarity, confidence, and purpose.

For more than two decades, I’ve led equity-centered initiatives that opened doors for thousands of young leaders — designing programs, partnerships, and systems that connect preparation with opportunity and talent with belonging.

That Bridge was born from those experiences. I saw how brilliance is often overlooked in places where opportunity isn’t evenly distributed and how systems must evolve to truly receive talent. So I built a firm that helps employers and emerging professionals grow together.

My work centers on equity in action: building systems, training leaders, and reimagining readiness so the next generation is truly prepared for the workforce — and the workforce is truly prepared for them.

I’m a connector, maximizer, and activator who believes every bridge we build should lead to belonging —and every act of leadership should open doors for someone else.
